Ganderbal,Feb,26: Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education on Friday announced the results of Class X examinations, according to which 75% of the candidates have passed the examinations.
According to the statistics, the success rate of boys was 74.04 percent while that of girls was 76.09 percent. According to board officials, a total of 75,132 candidates appeared for the exam, including 38,340 boys and 36,772 girls. A total of 56384 candidates have been declared successful.
Students studying in educational institutions in different parts of Kashmir Valley have made a name for themselves and their parents and the school with great success. Meanwhile, a student from Ganderbal district of Central Kashmir got 500 marks out of 500 marks and made a name for himself, his parents and the district.
Tabassum Gulzar, a 17-year-old student from Watalbagh area of Ganderbal district, has made a name for herself not only in her school but also in her area and her parents by securing a privileged position in 10th class with 100% marks. Meanwhile, the local population, school staff and parents have expressed their happiness over the success of the said student.
