Tempo catches fire on Srinagar-Leh highway in Kangan

Ganderbal,23 April: A Tempo vehicle was completely destroyed in a fire mishap on Srinagar-Leh road in Kangan area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal on Friday afternoon.


An official said the tempo car bearing registration no JK 06/ 5288 caught fire during repairing works, resulting in complete damage to it.


He said the tempo belongs to Irshad Ahmad Lone son of Nazair Ahmad Lone, a resident of Doda.


No injuries to any personnel were reported in the incident, however, vehicle got completely damaged, he said
