Lexi Thompson had a harsh rebuke for her caddie after being stunned by him yelling”fore” through the Saturday fourballs at the Solheim Cup.
When they came at the 14th on the tee, where Thompson believed she could reach with a long-iron Team along with thompson USA spouse Marina Alex were one down to Caroline Masson and Jodi Ewart Shadoff.
However, the world No 3 obstructed her tee-shot to the right, prompting her caddie, Benji Thompson (no relation), to recapture the traditional yell of”fore” to frighten the spectators near the green.
Lexi, though, was taken aback by the volume of the shout as she felt nobody was in danger of being hit and hurt, and she glared angrily in her bagman earlier stating:”Jesusit wasn’t that bad!”
When her rookie playing partner matched Ewart Shadoff’s birdie out of going two up to play, to prevent the European group thompson’s mood lifted with.
