ADC presides over Block Diwas at block Ganderbal

GANDERBAL, FEBRUARY 17: District Administration Ganderbal, today organised Block Diwas at different locations of the district to listen to the public grievances and to raise awareness on individual beneficiary oriented schemes.
Designated senior officers were present at their respective Block headquarters where they listened to the public grievances and resolved majority of them on the spot with the intervention of the concerned department.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Farooq Ahmad Baba presided over the Block Diwas held at block Ganderbal where he listened to grievances of people and PRIs who turned up to the camp and apprised the ADC about various issues and grievances and sought his intervention for early redressal.

The Sarpanchs sought better road connectivity, adequate health facilities, up gradation of PHE and PDD infrastructure and other related issues concerning their respective areas.

The ADC resolved several issues on the spot besides issued instructions to the concerned departments to take measures to address the public issues.

The ADC assured the PRIs that all their issues would be taken into consideration in a time bound manner and directed the officers of line departments to work in coordination with the PRIs so that equitable development of all panchayats is ensured in the district.

The resource persons of various departments also raise awareness on individual beneficiary oriented schemes available with their concerned departments so that eligible one can avail the benefits.
